“That didn’t hurt as bad as I thought it would.” It’s what we hear from every one of my clients after their first wax. With over 10 years of experience in the waxing industry, our technique and high-quality Italian soft wax greatly minimize the pain. You’re always in good hands at Xposed.

For waxing any area its best to avoid caffeine five hours prior to appointment time. You can take an ibuprofen 30 minutes prior and this will help with reducing sensitivity and inflammation. Wear loose fit clothing as well. Any tight clothing will cause friction and irritation to the skin.
-
Waxing slows down and reduces hair growth making it much easier every time you get waxed. Shaving reverses everything waxing has done and puts you back at square one. So once you start waxing throw that razor away!

common facial services questions
Facial FAQs
-
Facials can target a wide range of concerns including dryness, acne, clogged pores, fine lines, uneven tone, and dullness. At Xposed, we customize each treatment to your skin type and goals.
-
For best results, most clients benefit from a facial every 4–6 weeks. This allows your skin’s natural renewal cycle to align with professional treatments.
-
Sometimes facials can bring underlying congestion to the surface, but this is temporary and part of the skin-clearing process. Most clients notice clearer, smoother skin within a few days.
-
We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup so your skin can fully absorb the benefits of the treatment without irritation.
-
Arrive with a clean face if possible, and avoid strong exfoliants, retinol, or tanning 48 hours before your appointment. Share any skin sensitivities or medications with your esthetician so we can adjust your treatment.
-
Yes! We customize facials to your skin’s needs and use gentle, soothing products when working with sensitive skin. Your comfort and safety are always our top priority.

Lash FAQs
-
With proper care, lash extensions typically last 2–3 weeks before a fill is needed. Everyone’s natural lash cycle is different, so retention can vary slightly.
-
Classic lashes give a natural, mascara-like look. Hybrid lashes mix classic and volume for a fuller style, while volume lashes use ultra-fine extensions to create a bold, dramatic effect.
-
Mascara isn’t necessary and can shorten the life of your extensions. If you’d like extra drama, only use a lash-extension safe mascara (oil-free and water-based) on the tips of your lashes.
-
Avoid water, steam, and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours. After that, gently cleanse with a lash-safe cleanser, brush your lashes daily, and avoid oil-based products around the eyes.
-
Yes—when applied correctly by a trained technician, extensions won’t damage your natural lashes. At Xposed, we prioritize lash health and apply extensions safely for long-term wear.
-
Most clients return every 2–3 weeks to keep their lashes looking full and fresh. Regular fills maintain your look and prevent gaps as natural lashes shed.
